Doors laminate flooring is there a future?
Today, laminated doors are becoming more and more popular with consumers. This was also noticed by the door manufacturers. Even the Italians, who are considered the trendsetters of door fashion around the world, are beginning to add laminate doors to their collections.
Of course, veneer is a tradition that many people remain faithful to, but the production of veneered doors is associated with various difficulties. In nature, no two trees are the same, so it is impossible to make two doors that are absolutely identical in color and pattern. It is very difficult for manufacturers to ensure the consistency of its color and texture, as well as the mechanical properties of the veneer, despite the enormous efforts made to achieve this. Laminate flooring saves manufacturers from these difficulties, and buyers from the need to buy different doors from each other. Laminate is produced as a film, in large reels. The color and pattern on the film are the same, so the doors are similar to each other.

Also, there are certain difficulties when covering parts with a curved profile with veneer. Laminate is easier to cover doors with complex geometries, due to the fact that it has more flexibility than veneer. In addition, in case of violations of the integrity of the coating, doors covered with laminate are easier to restore than veneered ones.
Of course, a door made of living wood is much nicer than a door made of artificial material. Laminate is smoother and does not have the same pleasant rough surface as natural wood. However, it is much easier to produce a laminate film than to grow a single tree. The resource of natural materials is gradually decreasing and most likely in the future doors made of natural veneer, and even more so doors made of solid solid wood will become more expensive. Even now, laminated doors are considered the most affordable at their price, but in the future, analysts predict an even greater price spread between laminate and natural doors.
Many buyers are afraid that laminate is not a natural product, but a chemical. Passed a severe environmental test, but still chemistry.
However, in the modern production of goods, we are moving further and further away from natural products. Products made of artificial materials are easier to produce, they are cheaper, and can last much longer than we can imagine. It can be assumed that with the same trend that is observed now, in the future, laminate will gradually displace doors made of natural materials from the market.
