Interior doors and their variety

Interior doors can be divided into several types, focusing on the methods of opening them and the type of construction as a whole. And in particular, it can be doors of the swing type, double-leaf or single-leaf, there can also be one-and-a-half unequal doors. If we talk about the doors of the swing type, then such products can open both to the right and to the left, which also needs to be taken into account, otherwise there may be problems with the hinges and locks when installing such a product.

As a rule, for residential premises, a door made of solid wood is chosen, you can choose both a completely natural solution and a glued one. They also buy plastic doors and products made of MDF. The cost of things of this type can vary in a fairly wide range, and the price is usually affected by a very specific list of indicators. So, the size, their standardness or departure from it will definitely play a role in this issue. The presence of a glass insert on it can make a thing more expensive – especially shock-resistant or with a high artistic value. The type of canvas also plays a role, while the blind is cheaper than the paneled one. Of course, the material from which the canvas is made is also not left out in the framework of this issue.

Compartment doors also turn out to be a very popular solution, and they can be created with either one or two canvases. They can be mounted either on a pair of guides, or on a single one located at the top or bottom. The upper single guide allows you to get rid of the sill, but in a draft, such a door can lead. All other solutions are more reliable, but have a threshold, which, however, can be sunk into the floor. Compartment doors are offered in the range, as well as conventional solutions, they can have glazing, be blind and paneled. Today, solutions with frosted glass are fashionable, and this solution allows you to successfully zone the space, creating the appearance of other spacious rooms, but stopping the eye and not allowing it to penetrate deep.

Popular today and quite exotic swinging doors that open in two directions, like the subway, and therefore they are often used in homes where there are animals. However, they are rarely seen on sale, so if you want to get them, you will have to contact specialized stores where they can help you.

One of the interesting varieties is the stable doors, which are made up of two halves with separate hinges and locks, both from above and from below. They are usually seen in bars, and are more common in the West than in Russia. For young parents, this solution may be practical, since the lower part may block their entrance to dangerous territory, while the upper part will allow them to communicate with them.

You can choose a variety of modern solutions for yourself, but do not forget that any doors that are visible at the same time must be executed in a general style, and only then will you be able to get a decent interior.
